A suspect in a stolen car smashed through fences, hit a CHP cruiser and drove on shredded tires during a wild hours-long chase that ended in Compton Tuesday night. As the suspect drove around Compton on only two tires, CHP slammed into the fleeing car about five times - spinning it out of control. The PIT maneuvers eventually hindered the driver from going any further, and he was taken into custody just before 11 p.m. near North Alameda Street and East Rosecrans Avenue.
